Adding additional ships to Pacific Fleet is very difficult as the game is designed and balanced around 7 ships per navy. This is one of the primary reasons we decided to make Atlantic Fleet as a whole new sequel so as to remove this limitation. Atlantic Fleet now contains dozens ship models representing 1000’s of actual vessels. We’d like to get back to the Pacific one day either as additional updates to the game or as a sequel.

I really enjoy playing Pacific Fleet; I have ver. 2.0. I wish it was possible to command multiples of the same ship. I know that’s possible in Single Battle mode, but it’s not possible in the full campaign mode. Does the latest version of your game allow players to command multiples of the same ship in both modes? Please reply and let me know. Thanks!

No Pacific Fleet does not allow the control of duplicate ship classes in the campaign.

Pacific Fleet no longer works on my iPad, which is running iOS 11 (Beta). Will it be supported on iOS 11?

Also, while I’m here, if you’re playing the US side, and accumulate the 400,000 needed for the A-Bomb, and if you buy the A-Bomb, the game is essentially over at the halfway point. Which makes it a ho-hum experience from that point forward. Just my impressions.

Unfortunately not. The latest version of iOS no longer supports 32-bit apps and there are no plans to update Pacific Fleet to 64-bit at this time.

That is very disappointing to hear. I bought Pacific Fleet on iOS because I felt the opportunity to play on-the-go was worth the relatively high mobile app price. The theme and mechanics of Pac Fleet prompted me to make a similar investment in Atlantic Fleet on Steam, which was inducing me to consider Cold Waters as my next purchase. However, I am reluctant to invest in games that I can’t return to and play again in the future.

I would be interested in Pacific Fleet if it was ported to the desktop and offered on Steam as you have done with Atlantic Fleet. I understand that deploying and/or sustaining can sometimes be difficult on tightly controlled platforms like Apple’s iOS ecosystem, so if it is a challenge migrate Pac Fleet from 32-bit then do as you have done with Atlanic Fleet on Steam.

        Cheers!

Ah, sad news. I noticed Pacific Fleet in list of non supported apps for IOS11 on my phone. I had hoped it would be just a recompile but I can understand if there are many changes in libraries etc. The PC games look great though! Hopefully they’ll port to iPad at some point.

Can you please fix for IPhone X? Needs a double touch for the swipe as now the single blocks the horizontal line

  6. Mark

Oh no! The new iPhone X home swipe sits right over the controls on Pac Fleet! Help. Can you give the option to move the horizontal control?
